Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
Due to the specialized, high-value, and international logistics of vehicle transactions, our refund policy focuses on transaction security and pre-export quality assurance. Our primary guarantee is that the vehicle’s condition will match the Verified Condition Report provided before shipment.
Transaction Cancellation & Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility is tied to the stage of the transaction. We manage all refunds through the secure Escrow Service to protect your funds.

Full Refund Eligibility (Pre-Inspection): You may cancel your order for a full refund (minus any non-refundable deposit or sourcing fee) any time before the mandatory third-party inspection is performed.

Refund After Verification: If the mandatory inspection reveals a major defect or material deviation from the original listing description that was not disclosed, you have 7 business days from receipt of the report to reject the vehicle for a full refund.

Ineligible Refunds (Post-Export): Once the vehicle has been successfully loaded onto the vessel and the Bill of Lading has been issued, the transaction is considered final. Refunds are generally not possible for changes in local import laws, buyer’s remorse, or minor wear and tear within accepted standards.
Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are non-refundable once incurred, regardless of transaction status:

Third-Party Inspection Fees: If the final inspection report confirms the car matches the listing description.

Logistics & Documentation Fees: Once export paperwork has been finalized and submitted to port authorities.

International Shipping Costs: Once the vessel has departed the origin port.
Processing Refunds
Once your refund request is approved based on the above criteria:

We will notify you via email of the approval.

The refund will be processed through the Escrow Service and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment (Wire Transfer/TT).

Processing times for international wire transfers typically take 10–14 business days from the release date.
Late or Missing Refunds
If your approved refund seems late, first contact the Escrow Agent to confirm the release date. Next, contact your bank, as international wire transfers often involve significant internal processing time. If all steps are complete and the refund is still missing, please contact us at sales@carbuy.world.
Exchanges and Post-Export Returns
Exchanges: Due to the unique nature of each high-value listing, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you reject a vehicle based on the inspection report, the transaction is refunded, and you may purchase a different vehicle from our inventory.
Post-Export Returns: Car Buy World does not accept returns of vehicles once they have been successfully exported. Any exception would only be considered in cases of significant contractual breach or fraud and would require legal agreement. In such rare instances, the buyer is solely responsible for all costs related to reverse international shipping, customs, and port charges.
